Created for a Purpose

SO here's the deal, it's easy to get caught up in day-to-day life and completely lose sight of the things we want to accomplish and the life we want to build…we get stuck with the real-life every day tasks, like getting groceries, vacuuming the dog fur up in the kitchen....one more time...or making sacrifices so we can keep the kids on track with their dreams.

It can be exhausting...but we have to stop, we have to slow down, we have to get really clear on WHY we are here. We need to spend some time on the dreams we have, the callings we've been ignoring, and the legacy we want to leave.

I started this company because I want women to live the best versions of their lives, not because that's the goal in and of itself, but because living our best lives, allows us to be the best version of us to those around us.... and I don't know about you, but that's pretty freakin exciting.

You and I are created with a unique purpose. Yep I said it.

You are created for something that only you can do in this world. Trust me I know how easy it is to discount that. To ignore the little voice that’s calling us to to something bold. Wether that’s adopting a child, starting a new business, or volunteering in the community.

You have a unique set of talents and gifts that are designed to help you do some really awesome things in this world. You just have to believe that you can live your life ON purpose and WITH purpose.

So what is purpose anyway…(so glad you asked!)

Purpose is defined as "the reason for which something is done or created or for which something exists.

YIKES...kind of lofty for a Tuesday morning, but also pretty exciting...we are created on purpose for a purpose and our job is to live our lives to reflect that truth.

Our purpose is to add value to this world, to make an impact. And our purpose probably feels energizing, exciting, and terrifying! Here’s the deal, your purpose is about making an impact and leaving a legacy for your family, your community, and our world.

BUT unless we are intentional about how we spend our time, our money, and our effort. We can’t step into that purpose completely.

I want you to take deliberate. I want you to take action every day to move towards your dreams and purpose.

Today I want you to Identify the dream & purpose.

This is the hardest step and the easiest step. Chance are you have a little voice that has dared you dream some pretty cool dreams. A voice that gives you ideas for what COULD be possible. It’s easy to shut that voice down and ignore it. So today I want you to take some time to figure out what you really want your life to look like.

Let the little voice give you a nudge in the direction. Don’t make the mistake of trying to logically plan your way to the dream right now, that comes later. Right now just slow down and listen to what your inner cheerleader is telling you to try (even when that feels a little awkward and uncomfortable).

Lean into the idea of doing big and scary things.

My little voice told me to lead conferences and retreats for women. To help them step into their calling and really live boldly. It sounds ridiculous, “who am I” to help women figure out their dreams…I’m still learning to chase mine. But the reality is I am ready for this, well maybe not ready, but equipped.

I never want anyone to doubt that they are wonderfully and uniquely made...that they bring value to this world, and that their story is worth sharing. I’ve doubted that in the past. I’ll share my story more in the future, but for now I just want you to believe that you can do BIG things!

And if you don't quite believe it yet, that's okay, because I believe it for you!

Here’s my challenge to you today…

Be YOU...the YOU that you were created to be. The YOU that only you can be...the YOU that you're being called to be...

Ask yourself the following questions:

What would your life look like if you stepped into your purpose completely?

What would it feel like if you could share your purpose with confidence and make decisions knowing you were doing EXACTLY what you were supposed to be doing?

How can you take a little step today to let your Purpose shine through?

Until next week my friend…
